So...once there was this cow...who grazed the pastures of central oregon.  My mom one day noticed there was a small cry coming from nearby.  After some investigation..and a few overturned cowpies, she found me!  I've forever tried to find out which heffer birthed me..but I gave up after realizing most cows die and go to heaven.

My parents raised me best they could in Oregon City.  I am proud to be a Pioneer..although it's a bit sad there's that new fancy school...I like the brick one with all the staircases!  I spent most of my senior year on crutches..so I did get the much coveted elevator pass...that sooo rocked!  I played football and had a great time at school and was a pretty good student!  There are a few people I still see from time to time.  I dig the fact that my friends back then are still real friends today.

I got into radio right out of high school..hence why I started there.  I moved to John Day, OR..KJDY for my first real on-air gig.  The station broadcast from the fairgrounds complex.  I was sometimes the janitor...toilet unplugger and news guy.  I also wrote and produced most of the commercials that ran on the station while being on the air from 9am to noon...when the owner/program director/handy man came on to do the really tricky stuff..like running Paul Harvey via feed..and the infamous on air yard sale.  Then at 1,  I came back on until I turned the station off at 7pm.  I sure learned a bunch early on in my career...I still look back at that experience and know that many of the things I do today were taught to me from that little station in the middle of virtually nowhereville usa.

After nearly a year there I decided it was time to go big time...I looked at a few stations in Longview, Bend and points in between.  I ended up getting a weekend time slot on KXPC in Lebanon.  I was on the air for a few months doing requests and talking to real people!  I really had the bug then.  I kept searching to find something in Portland...and then it happened.  KKSN hired me to do fill in work and overnights....I was really happy...Barely 19 working in a big market.  I've never turned back.  I worked at KKSN for a while then moved on to KUPL doing weekends and then on to Middays at KVMX...an 80's station.  I was there when Khits went on the air and I was itching to get back to the good stuff.

I am currently the "Morning Show guy" playing on the air from 5:30am to 10:00am.  You will also hear me on various commercials on CBS stations in Portland.  I really enjoy playing music and creating a great, compelling on air product whether it be music or a commercial...ear candy is what I like!

I'm also much more than a guy on the radio.  I'm a Dad and a Husband really enjoy being both.  I love playing with my girls.  Shelby was born on March 5th of 03 and Hannah born just 9 hours shy of sharing a birthday with Dad....October 23rd 05.  I married my beautiful wife September of 2000.  We have sooo much fun together.  With my hours here at the station..it's like Dad doesn't got to work..in fact I don't..I go play!   Oaks Park, heck any park in the summertime is where you will find us.

I love the outdoors, just being or fishing or snowboarding or wakeboarding.  I'm also the neighbor who climbs all the way on the very tip top of the house to get the lights up.  I've done it since I was a kid...and since I'm still a kid...why not do it now!   I also really enjoy dressing up for the party....Halloween is super fun times...I was once Jane Fonda...yes...one peice...yes nylons...yes wig..yes makeup...scary...but FUN!
