John Paul Jones can't complain

The jury is still out on if Led Zeppelin will go on a reunion tour or not, even though it seems apparent that their fans hunger to hear more live music from the group.  The latest band member to speak about their future has been bassist John Paul Jones, who recently revealed he has “no idea” what Zep might be doing.  What Jones does seem to know about is why the group’s music seems to be as loved today as it was when it first came out.  (Actuality #5) “I think it’s timeless music because we didn’t sound like anybody from that era anyway.  We all sounded different from everybody else.  It’s just stood up.  It’s great.  I had a great time, done well out of it.  I’m not complaining at all.”  Guitarist Jimmy Page has noted that if Zeppelin were to tour, it wouldn’t be until after September since frontman Robert Plant is going on tour with blue grass singer Alison Krauss.  In fact, you can catch a Crossroads episode with Plant and Krauss Monday night on CMT at 8 PM Eastern.  Meanwhile, you can see Jones take part in the Foo Fighters performance at the GRAMMY Awards, Sunday night at 8 PM on CBS.
