Hope Starts with You! Judy Gloden, Mary Montoya, and Jimmy Roan have all heard the words, “you have breast cancer.” They all have family members, friends, and colleagues who care about them … just like the more than 178,000 people who will also receive that devastating news in 2007. But thanks to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event and dedicated people like you, we’re making progress toward a future where no one will have to face breast cancer. 

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events have no registration fee and no fundraising minimum. These noncompetitive walks range in distance from three to five miles, and men, women, and children of all ages are encouraged to participate. Whether this is your first Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk or your 15th, we are happy you have chosen to support the American Cancer Society, and we look forward to making strides against breast cancer with you
