Roger Daltrey Talks about his film on Keith Moon

It’s been rumored that The Who’s Roger Daltrey is working on a movie about his former bandmate, the late Keith Moon. Though he hasn’t spoken about it much, Daltrey opened up about the film’s progress and what he hopes to come from it. (Actuality #1) “It’s not as easy as it sounds. Keith was a very complicated guy and enough isn’t already known about him and I don’t want to make a film about all those things that people know and all those things people on the surface would expect the film to be. I want it to be something that tells about the real Keith and how he ticked and how he was. If I ever get it made, I’m hoping to make a real rock and roll film if my only purpose is stopping a bad Keith Moon film being made.” Daltrey will be in Las Vegas next month, helping the Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp celebrate their tenth anniversary. The famed singer will be joined by the likes of Slash, Joe Walsh, Vince Neil and Jack Bruce as well as a slew of other performers, all there to give regular folk an opportunity to learn from them and jam with them.
