The Beatles Basement

Beatles Basement Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to Noon

The Beatles Basement is a two-hour weekly Beatles-and-solo-Beatles program driven by creative listener set ideas, a massive collection of the original versions of songs as aired on radio in the 1960s and 1970s plus archival and exclusive short interview clips. Beatles Basement also features the occasional in-studio performance and thematic sets chosen by celebrity guests.

ABOUT ARCHER
Archer hosted the first 6 years of the Denver-Boulder version of Breakfast With The Beatles, building up a huge world-wide following through the on-air broadcasts and a simultaneous online audio stream. His trademark presentation is limited talk and maximum music, with clips of the Beatles themselves.

He has interviewed all four Beatles, as well as most of the "Beatle people" — movers and shakers like Bill Harry, George Martin, Linda McCartney, Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, Julian Lennon, Olivia Harrison, Louise Harrison, Giles Martin, Eric Clapton, Sid Bernstein, Bob Eubanks, Rusty Anderson, Laurence Juber, Geoff Emerick, Alan Parsons, Bill Bernstein, Henry Diltz, Joey Molland, Lon Van Eaton, Jackie Lomax, Billy Preston, Neil Innes, Peter Max, May Pang, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Barbara Orbison, Keith Richards, Micky Dolenz, David Peel, Les Fradkin, Jorie Gracen, Donovan, Eric Burdon, Peter Noone, Larry Kane, Al Kooper, Chuck Leavell, Firefall, Mark Hudson and more.

In addition to his years as a personality in Portland, Sacramento, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Seattle and Denver, Archer has also written and produced internationally-broadcast documentaries on the Beatles, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Carlos Santana, Eric Burdon, the Traveling Wilburys, the Who, the Rolling Stones and Crash Test Dummies.
